New York is a no-fault state, and people don’t really understand what ‘no fault’ is. Um, ‘no fault’ essentially implicates motor vehicle accidents, and what it means is, it doesn’t matter who’s at fault for the motor vehicle accident. The car that you were in, the order that you were in, that insurance will pay for your medical treatment, irrespective of who was at fault.
