Following his tenure at the DA’s office, Joe was a trial attorney at two prominent personal injury law firms, as well as a founding partner of a boutique law firm, where he represented victims of negligence and discrimination in both state and federal courts. Joe has tried numerous cases in all five boroughs of New York City and Long Island, securing significant jury verdicts in challenging cases. Notably, Joe has obtained multiple seven-figure jury awards for victims who suffered traumatic brain injuries.
Joe’s exceptional representation of victims earned him a spot in the National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” and recognition as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. Additionally, Joe’s work on several cases has been featured in multiple news outlets, including NBC, the New York Post, and the Staten Island Advance.
Joe attended St. John’s University School of Law, while working full-time to help support his wife and young children. While there, he was an Executive Articles Editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and judicial intern for the Honorable Sheri S. Roman of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. Joe graduated law school with honors, earning multiple awards for his academic excellence.
