Peter Weprin serves as “Of Counsel” to Meirowitz & Wasserberg. He is based in the New York City office, he is part of the firm’s toxic tort team, and focuses his practice on supporting Mesothelioma and Lung Cancer cases. He believes in helping people who were occupationally exposed to deadly asbestos fibers and have now become seriously ill as a result of that exposure.
Prior to joining Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, Mr. Weprin worked as Senior Counsel in the legal department of a Fortune 500 company, he also was a Managing Director with an expertise in Biotech financing of numerous cancer drug development companies. He started his career as a 16 year old intern in his uncle’s personal injury law firm. To this day, he remains committed to helping those were injured through no fault of their own.
Mr. Weprin is admitted to practice law in all New York State Courts and obtained his Juris Doctors Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1999.
