In her years of practice, Sarah has had the privilege of working closely with hundreds of individuals facing a mesothelioma diagnosis, providing legal counsel and walking alongside them during their challenging journeys. She is excited to join the M&W team to manage the firm’s California practice.
After graduating from the University of California Law School (UC Hastings) in 2008, Sarah has dedicated her career exclusively to representing victims of mesothelioma and their families. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sarah was raised by parents who both worked for the state Social Services Department, instilling in her a deep sense of pride in advocating for those in need from a young age. Throughout her career, she has learned that a cancer diagnosis can often be one of the most vulnerable moments in a person’s life. Sarah is committed to ensuring that her clients know, from the very first meeting, that she is fully present and deeply motivated to support them, their families, and their healthcare journey every step of the way.
HONORS AND AFFILIATIONS
- I was a 2023 finalist for California Consumer Advocate of the Year for my work on the published opinion in Ramirez v. Avon, 87 Cal.App.5th 939. The nomination was made by the Consumer Attorneys of California, the state’s pre-eminent industry advocacy group.
- I received a top 25 verdict in the State of California in 2018 and again in 2020, the latter of which was the first ever entirely remote civil trial in the United States to reach a verdict after the onset of the pandemic. My cases have received record-breaking multi-million dollar verdicts in California, Oregon and Washington State.
