About Meirowitz & Wasserberg Personal Injury and Mesothelioma Law Firm

Hi, Iโm Sam Meirowitz. Iโm Daniel Wasserberg, and together weโre Meirowitz and Wasserberg. We started our law firm, uh, about nine years ago. It was just two of us basically in one office and over the course of that time, weโve grown to over 10 offices and, uh, more than 50 people. Our mission is to help people who have been hurt through no fault of their own, maybe through the negligence of one party, maybe the reckless conduct of a major corporation.
Whatever it is, somebody seriously injured can lean on us for help in their time of need. Our guiding philosophy as a law firm is to know our client and our motto is that, ‘if you donโt know your client, you donโt know who youโre fighting for. And then, you donโt know what youโre fighting for.’ So we try to, um, even though weโve become a larger law firm, we try to maintain a boutique atmosphere where we really, uh, have a direct relationship with our clients.
When you hire Meirowitz and Wasserberg, you hire a team of trial lawyers and support staff that are there to be with you every step of the way, from the day that we sign up your case until the day that we resolve it. Like Daniel said, we treat every client like a person, not a number. And even though, we still consider ourselves a boutique Law Firm, weโve recovered hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of our clients and have the resources to fight those big corporations like any of the big law firms, uh, that represent similarly situated injured people.
Let me just elaborate on that a little bit. Weโve got the litigation software, weโve got the technology, weโve got 10 offices at present, weโve got relationships with local Council throughout the United States of America. Weโre members of large organizations of trial lawyers where, if itโs not exactly the kind of case we handle because itโs such a specialized field, we know the exact right person to guide you to. So in that way, weโre able to take care of all of our clients.
One of the things that is really important to us is being good members of our community. So we do get involved in helping to sponsor, uh, local activities like little leagues. We fight on behalf of our clients in government, uh, both at the state and the federal level. We’re members of national trial lawyers organizations that help fight for peopleโs rights across the country, and we’re also members of local state organizations, uh, where our headquarters are – particularly in New York. Where we fight for the rights of the folks that, uh, that are right here in our community. Uh, to make sure that the laws are there to support the consumers and the people that, uh, that can be injured by, uh, misconduct by large corporations. We are truly a national law firm. Weโve taken verdicts in New York, weโve taken verdicts in California. Those are not the only two states, but I just want to emphasize coast to coast, we have access to courts throughout the country, access to the best network of doctors, experts, uh, co-counsel lawyers and so on and so forth.
But at the end of the day, what makes us special is the connection that we have both, uh, within the firm amongst each other as part of a team, uh, but also with our clients. At the end of the day, what we care about most is making people feel that theyโre cared for in their time of need. Uh, they come to us when theyโre seriously injured, theyโre vulnerable, they often times have never really been involved in a lawsuit before and we walk them through the process and we make sure that they feel like theyโre taken care of.
It sounds a little bit cliche, but we really do expect, uh, ourselves and and our attorneys to treat our clients the way that we would want our own family members treated and taken care of.
